What skills and experience do you need to be a care assistant?

Can you reply ‘yes’ to these questions?

  • Do you have care assistant experience?
  • Have you been DBS checked, on the update service?
  • Are you trained in using of hoists, medication or moving and handling?
  • Do you have knowledge of first aid, providing support and personal care?
  • And most importantly, are you a caring and genuine person?

Our rates for care range from (but are not limited to) £8.25ph – £16.80ph.

We have a large pool of clients who are looking for temp care assistants to start immediately. Our clients are care and nursing homes, hostels, homeless shelters, schools and children’s homes. 

We cover Brighton, Hove, Shoreham, Lancing, Worthing, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Arundel, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Heathfield, Lewes and more locations across East and West Sussex.

DBS applications

A DBS is essential for working in the care industry.

We can offer you the chance to complete a DBS in-branch, where a consultant will help you with the forms.

Free care training

We provide a free three-day training course for anyone who would like to become a care assistant. You’ll get a certificate on completing the course.

Modules covered include:

  • first aid
  • moving and handling
  • hoist training
